Looking for unusual
vintage collectibles, antiques, classics and curiosities? Something unrestored
and authentically different? Then have a browse of our
website....it may just put a smile on your face!
We set up this site as a means of advertising and selling a large number of disparate
items, many of them vintage collectibles, antiques, classics and curiosities purchased over a number of decades
by several older members of our family.
As we grew up in a rural environment space was
not much of an issue, and consequently the items being referred to in this estate range
from old trucks and tractors to musical instruments and fine china. A selection of some of the images
present in the 'gallery' pages of this website is currently playing in the thumbnail slideshow above and may
serve to give you some sense of the variety involved!
Due to their large number and varied nature many of the items we are looking to dispose of
are not yet on display or listed for sale anywhere else. Also, given the large
size, unusual nature, and/or niche character of some of them we felt it might be best
to 'put our toe in the water’ by placing some of these items on display here in the
Photo Gallery
section of this website.
Our thinking in doing this is that the item images may in themselves
have an interest or curiosity value to you, our visitors, and that we might also in turn
benefit from any comments or knowledge you may choose to share with us about them that
might help us with their sale. Obviously, we are open to discussion should anyone want
to 'make us an offer' on something.
The above mentioned exposure in our Photo Gallery not withstanding we plan to dispose
of at least some of this burgeoning 'collection’ of vintage collectibles,
antiques, classics and curiosities over time by placing
them up for sale in various selling venues, such as online auction sites like eBay, or
other more special interest mediums. To that end the
Auction Gallery
section of this website hosts details of some currently selling and recently sold
items should you be interested in looking.
